Update...

I'm not quite sure where to start...

First, I was completely rejected from all my vet schools. As a result, I am stuck here in Athens working a less than 18,000 a year job. But I am with my devilishly handsome boyfriend who by the way I am moving in with at the end of the month. It will be 3 years in August... what's another year.
I've started a new application for vet school and am planning to apply for UF, Auburn, Georgia, Wisconsin, VA Tech/Maryland, and Colorado State. I'm going to need to take out a small loan to pay off just the application process :/

I have graduated from UGA Magna cum Laude with a 3.8 GPA in Biological Sciences and minor in Cellular Biology. You know what you can do with this degree? Abso-fucking-lutely nothing!!! Well, there are options, but most of them entail preferences for either a Master's or Ph.D.

David will get graduating with his Ph.D. in May 2009. I'm extremely nervous about this because who knows where his job will take him and I don't know if wants to follow me to vet school. Time will tell. I guess I should make the most of the year rather than pushing him away.

As for my new year resolution that I just looked back upon - what shit. Lifestyle change nothing. Saving money - HA! Not when you have to buy new furnishings and keep your head afloat. Maybe after vet school. If I get in this year.

Plans are to retake both the standard GRE and biology GRE and kick complete ass on them. I already have small and large animal experience and the large animal experience is with Dairy Cows (aka Food animal) which is a plus. I've neutered my own cat and I will be spaying my sister's dog. I will be declawing Bob's front paws soon (since I just got a brand new couch and he's torn apart my loveseat). It's all about politics... which I hate... and I don't know anyone or have any connections. BOO!! We'll see what happens this year. I need to get jumping on this GRE studying - I bought the books two months ago and haven't touched them yet. No, that's incorrect. I've touched them only to move them from one side of the desk to the other. That's about right.
